Andrew Batey

A graduate of Trinity Western University's MBA program, Andrew Batey is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Spinlister LLC, a global leader in the peer-to-peer sharing economy. He also teaches advanced marketing and entrepreneurship courses at FIDM and freelance consults on a variety of consumer and SaaS startup projects. Previously a Managing Partner at Cross Coast Group (CCG), Andrew has launched multiple top 10 (iTunes & Billboard chart) musicians, major brands, and successful web properties utilizing growth frameworks and strategic digital marketing techniques. Prior to CCG, Andrew was a signatory literary agent (Both WGA and WGC) at Monteiro Rose Dravis Agency where he helped set up major film and television projects at a variety of production companies and studios. To date Andrew and his projects have earned over 5,000 press hits in major publications such as Mashable, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Wired Magazine, NBC Nightly News, Transworld, The Guardian, Venture Beat, Tech Crunch, etc. Andrew splits his remaining time between adrenalin sports, volunteering, and raising money for non-profit organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Friends Cure CF.
