Matt Glowacki

Matt Glowacki was born in 1973 in Janesville, Wisconsin. His birth drew attention because even though he was healthy, he was born without legs. From the very beginning, Matt's parents made sure to provide him with every opportunity to participate in a normal life. At age three, Matt became involved in community activities and went on to attend mainstream schools. In his senior year Matt earned the rank of Eagle Scout, served as the Governor of the State of Wisconsin’s Key Club District, and managed his own business. He continued his education and community involvement at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in U.S. History.

Matt is a motivational speaker, competitive athlete, and businessman who has delivered his messages of diversity to over a million people—including two sitting Presidents of the United States. His presentations teach students how to find happiness, develop a better understanding of social justice and diversity, and see potential in themselves to overcome personal disabilities and challenges. Matt is the most-booked diversity speaker on college campuses for the past 10 years, and has earned accolades such as Campus Activities Magazine’s 2014 Best Speaker, and Best Diversity Artist for 2010 and 2013.
