Zeba Blay

Born in Ghana and based in New York City, Zeba Blay is a television, film and pop culture critic. Blay has written for publications including Film Quarterly, Filmmaker, Slate, The New York Times, Indiewire, and Hyperallergic.

Blay is currently the Culture Writer at The Huffington Post, where in addition to writing op-ed pieces she hosts short explainers and viral videos as part of The Huffington Post's new Video Originals initiative.

She is the co-host of the popular podcast "Two Brown Girls," which analyzes pop culture through the lens of race and gender identity.

Blay has given talks on the intersection of race and entertainment at the Atlanta Film Festival, The New School AfroFuturism Symposium, The Bentonville Film Festival, The UN's Remembering Slavery Conference, and the Women Werk Conference, among others.
